The Reports page has been completely redesigned to deliver a faster, more intuitive, and workflow-aligned reporting experience. The redesigned Reports page eliminates endless scrolling and the difficulty of finding reports by organizing content to align with user workflows. This change significantly improves navigation, discoverability, and overall efficiency.
The page is now split into two clear, purposeful sections:
- Report History
A sleek, focused table showing the five most recent report requests, complete with status indicators, one-click actions to view or download, and new page numbers. Available Reports
An organized report library, grouped into meaningful categories so users can quickly find exactly what they need without any extra noise or clutter.
What’s Changed
Before (Old Experience)
- Consisted of one long page of reports with no categorization
- No specific organization or hierarchy of the Reports list
- Obsolete report-generation UI - (now it’s cleaner and more intuitive!)
- Users had to download every report file in order to see the report output
Key Features
Here is a quick list of the key features of the new Reports Page design.
- Smart, Streamlined Reporting History
Right up top, users see exactly what matters:
- The most recent report requests (30 Days), along with date and time stamps
- Report Name
- Clear status indicators (Ready, In Progress, Failed)
One-click View or Download (Retry option also available in case of failure)
2. Workflow-Based Report Categorization
Reports are now grouped in a way that aligns with how your teams work.
Categories live in a left-side panel. Select one, and only those reports display on the right. It’s organized, purposeful, and easier to navigate.
3. A Modern, Confident Report-Generation Experience
We retired the old, visually busy interface and replaced it with something:
- Cleaner
- Simpler
- More intuitive
Now, users can configure and generate reports without hesitation or guesswork.
4. New “View Report” Mode - No Download Needed
Previously, users had to download every file just to review its contents. Now, reports can be previewed directly on the page making it faster to:
- Spot-check data
- Validate results
- Decide if a download is even necessary
This improves both usability and workflow efficiency.
5. Favorite Reports
Users can now “star” their most frequently used reports and instantly access them from a dedicated Favorite Reports tab for one-click access. This supports repeat workflows and reduces time spent navigating lists.
6. Global Report Search
A new search bar allows users to quickly find reports by typing a name or keyword. Results filter dynamically, helping users locate reports instantly, even across categories.
