If a patient is on a manual plan and later wants to convert their plan to an autopay plan, Staff Experience users can look up their account and easily make this change!
Here's how:
1. Log into the Staff Experience
2. Search for the patient account in the Patient Search tab
3. Select the account. This will load their Patient Account page
4. You will see the following message on their My Accounts tab: "Set it and forget it! Convert your plan to an autopay plan."
5. Click the Convert button
6. In the "When would you like to pay?" screen, select the day of the month when auto payments should be processed.
7. Click Continue.
8. If the day of the month that you have chosen occurs after the date that your upcoming payment is due, you may be prompted to select a date for the upcoming payment to be auto debited before your regular autopay schedule takes effect.
9. Select the date and click Next.
10. In the "How would you like to pay?" screen, select the payment method.
11. Click Continue.
12. In the "Review Auto Pay Information" screen, review the autopay terms, and check the box to agree to the Terms and Conditions of the autopay agreement.
13. Click Confirm Autopay
